Where PCG Roofing Works
PCG Roofing works two markets, San Antonio and Laredo, about 155 miles apart on Interstate 35. In Bexar County we work across San Antonio and in Converse, just outside the city to the east. In Webb County we work in Laredo, where our office sits on East Calton Road. Richard Puigdomenech, who owns the company and has spent a little over 20 years in the construction business, handles the requests that come in from this website himself, whichever of the three you live in.
Each city asks something different of a roofer. The roofs are mostly the same kind, asphalt shingle on a pitched roof, but the reason a homeowner calls, and the way the job gets paid for, changes from one place to the next.
How the Three Cities Differ
Converse is storm country right now. On September 11, 2026, hail up to 1.75 inches hit east San Antonio, and Converse sat in its path. Most of the questions from there are about hail: whether the roof was damaged, how a claim runs, and what to ask any roofer before signing. The Converse page walks through that, along with what hail does to the tract homes, much of them built since 2000, that make up most of the city.
San Antonio is our main market and the broadest one. Spring hail is a regular event across the city, and we do both storm and retail work there: hail roofs, replacements on roofs that have simply reached the end of their life, and repairs on roofs that still have years left. The city is large enough that a mid-century house inside Loop 410 and a newer home on the Hill Country edge around Stone Oak need different conversations, and the San Antonio page covers both. On the east side, Kirby and China Grove took the same September 11 hail as Converse.
Laredo is home. Most roofing work in Laredo is retail, homeowners replacing a roof the heat and sun have worn out and paying for it themselves, but storms still reach it: hail fell across northwest Laredo and Ranchos Penitas West on September 4 and 5, 2026. A homeowner who wants a fair quote from someone local does not always have many places to call, and the Laredo page covers what the climate does to a roof and how a retail job is priced.
What Stays the Same Everywhere
Wherever the house is, the job starts with a free inspection. We inspect the roof, show you what we find and tell you whether you are looking at a repair, a replacement, storm damage you may want to talk to your insurer about, or a roof that is fine as it is. If a storm was involved, we explain each step of a claim before it happens. Whether you file is up to you.
Contracts are written in plain English, the crew works quickly and leaves the property clean, and we stay with every job until it is finished and paid. Beyond roofs, we also remove and reinstall solar panels when the roof beneath them needs replacing, and we repair siding and paint exteriors. The full list is on the services page.
