PCG Roofing is the trade name of Puigdomenech Contracting Group, LLC, a roofing contractor with its office at 808 E Calton Rd in Laredo. Richard Puigdomenech owns it and runs it. He has been in the construction business for a little over 20 years, and roofing is the center of it: replacements, repairs, storm damage and the insurance claims that come with it.
The company itself dates to August 2010, and it is an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau, rated A+. You can check both on its BBB profile, and see photos from recent jobs on the company's Facebook page.
Most of the work right now is in San Antonio, his main market, and in Converse on the northeast side of Bexar County, where hail came through on September 11, 2026. Laredo, where the office is, is where he does more retail work: roofs that homeowners pay for themselves, with no claim involved.

The Person You Talk To
When you call from this website or send the form, you reach Richard. He handles the requests from this website himself, so the person who looks at your roof is the person who answers your questions about it later.
Daniel Partida had never dealt with a roof claim and wrote that Richard was "very patient in answering my questions and concerns." Evan Martinez and his wife were new homeowners, "very afraid of being burned by the insurance company and any roofers," and wrote that Richard explained the whole claim before it started, with contracts "in plain English without all that Legal-ese."
Insurance Work and Retail Work
We do both storm and retail work. A storm job starts with a free inspection. Whether to file is your decision. The adjuster, who works for your insurance company, makes the assessment, and if your insurer approves the work, we build to the approved scope. Insurers often pay in stages, and the last payment can be slow. We stay until the job is finished and paid for.
On a retail job you pay for the roof directly, so the price has to be right. Richard has spent years building relationships with shingle suppliers, and that shows up in the quote.
What We Work On
- Roof replacement and repair. Shingle roofs on homes across San Antonio and Laredo. See roof replacement and roof repair.
- Hail and storm damage. Inspections after a storm, and the claim process explained. See hail and storm damage and insurance claims.
- Solar panels. Our crew removes panels for a roof replacement and puts them back. One customer had 27 taken off and reinstalled. See solar panel removal and reinstall.
- Siding and paint. Hail damages more than the roof. See siding and exterior painting.
